Mr. Koplik has represented a wide range of plaintiffs in personal injury, premises liability, and medical malpractice cases. Mr. Koplik has obtained numerous multi-million dollar recoveries for his clients and has represented his clients before the Supreme Courts of Delaware and New Jersey.

In 2019, Mr. Koplik obtained an award of $3,583,703.63 for a victim who suffered traumatic brain injuries including post-concussion syndrome and devastating spinal injuries requiring discectomy and fusion surgery after he was struck in the head by falling ice. In 2015, he obtained a $1.4 million settlement for a plaintiff whose vehicle was struck from behind by a cement mixer truck while stopped at a red light.

Mr. Koplik is a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Established in 1993, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum is one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Fewer than 1% of U.S. attorneys are members.

Prior to founding his own law firm in 2013, Mr. Koplik was the senior associate at a nationally renowned plaintiffs’ medical malpractice firm. Mr. Koplik assisted in sustaining on appeal the second largest known verdict in the history of LASIK surgery malpractice, in the amount of $5.6 million. Mr. Koplik represented another LASIK surgery malpractice victim in his successful appeal to the Supreme Court of Delaware.

Mr. Koplik also worked as an associate in the bankruptcy and debtor/creditor group of Trenk, DiPasquale, Della Fera & Sodono, P.C., in Newark and West Orange, New Jersey. During that time, Mr. Koplik represented a real estate developer in his suit against a residential builder, who attempted to misappropriate funds from their joint venture. The trial court awarded Mr. Koplik’s client approximately $7.8 million, which was affirmed by the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

From 2007 through 2010, Mr. Koplik served as an Assistant Municipal Prosecutor in the Township of West Orange, New Jersey. During that time, Mr. Koplik successfully appeared before the Supreme Court of New Jersey on behalf of the Township and obtained reversal of an appellate decision awarding counsel fees incurred by a property owner in defending condemnation.

During law school, Mr. Koplik served as an editor of the Women’s Rights Law Reporter, a quarterly journal of legal scholarship that was founded by Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Prior to law school, he was a pitcher for the Vassar College Brewers baseball team, earning academic all-conference honors three times. Additionally, he served as a player/coach for the Erbach Grasshoppers of the Deutscher Baseball Verband in Germany, an affiliate of Major League Baseball.
